Hey congrats that’s awesome. If you need to fix your emblems let me know. I’m in market commons.

Looks great! Can you post some pics of it from a distance. Want to see the finished product from different angles.

I noticed my dealership offers the locking black lug nuts as well as the standard ones. My dealership charges $72 for standard and $92 (?) for locking. With what you paid for yours, I’d ask them to include the black locking ones and get rid of the chrome ones.

@Abbeygirl1 thanks for the pics! Definitely an upgrade. Do you think the back would look funny if the emblem since its squared off?

So…. Are you telling me this is something my dealer threw inMormons it from the factory. To be honest with you, I didn’t notice it till someone pointed it out and now its as obvious as a “third eyeball”. I agree they should be black as it’s nightfall.

Are you thinking of removing the emblem? I agree there is a squared off area on the tailgate where the emblem resides, so it may look a bit odd if it’s removed.

Thanks! Yes, forgot a couple words...thinking about removing it if it doesn't look weird.

Hey all -- first post. Just ordered a 2022 S in Everlasting Silver so am excited to geek out with everyone.

Test drove a '22 at a dealership the other day and snapped a couple pics. They had a Sangria Nightfall and an Everlasting Silver S. Agree with everyone here... odd that the NF isn't blacked out, but the chrome/lighter logo doesn't look terrible on the lighter everlasting silver. The interior pic is of the bigger screen now standard on the S.

Yes. Your dealership evidently threw in the chrome locking lug nuts instead of the black locking lug nuts. I’m the guy who pointed it out on your YouTube video. Sorry for that but see if your dealership has the correct part number from above for the black ones. Here’s what they put on instead of the black ones from above and listed again here for others with Nightfall whose dealership likes bright and shiny objects instead of the black ones.

Here’s the front Emblem for those that are interested. Let me know what ya think.
Thank you sooooo much for posting this!! I agree I don’t understand why they didn’t go with black on the nightfall?? But happy to know when mine arrives I can “fix” it. 🙂

Yes, thanks @Abbeygirl1 for the videos. Might give it a try when we receive ours.

Also, my theory for the the reason why the emblems are not nightfall, they are trying to rebrand their image so they want to have their new logo visable as much as possible. Especially on their most popular vehicle.

Yeah. I understand the rebranding thing but this is c,early the marketing team at Kia beating out the design team. Unfortunate for all of us with the nightfall package.

I think it's sheer laziness. These emblems would stand out a lot more on the lighter colored cars with NF if they were dark.

Hope these pics can help you out.
Looks great. IMHO, the way it should be from factory. We opted to get the MY21 EX N/T/P Glacial White (picking up tomorrow) because my wife hated the silver logo on the MY22 (which we had the option to get)

Anyone got any pics or pulled the trigger on deleting the back KIA badge entirely, to see how it looks on the flat surface of the trunk? Interested how that looks.

Not bad! My dealer is charging me $200CDN for chrome lock nuts, and they're not optional. I refuse to use those factory lock nuts, so I had to pay $200 for something that is coming off the vehicle the moment I take delivery. In hindsight, I should've walked just on the principal of something so stupid. Oh well, lesson learned.
