If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’m thinking about selling my 2021 Telly. It only has 8600 miles. Gravity Gray, EX AWD nightfall edition. It’s in Mint condition. I’m trying to figure out what would be the best approach? Sell it privately? Use Carvana or similar? Trade-in? I’m in South Florida if location makes a difference.

Anyone with experience that can steer me to the best option?

a couple of weeks ago i got quotes from carmax and carvana and carmax was higher (at least up here in MA it was)...i went with carmax...the quotes are free and you have 7 days to claim it before you have to redo the quote (which will probably be identical)...i assume they are going to give you more than a trade in but i don't know for sure, you would have to talk to a dealer...in the meantime you could also post it for sale privately higher than you would get from carmax/carvana/dealer trade-in and see if anyone bites

It kills me to consider doing this after a chaotic search for one last year but I barely leave the house during the week (work at home, have an in-house nanny, have no life bc I have a toddler lol) and almost all of the driving I’ve done in the past 14 months in it, have been road trips in Florida. It’s been WONDERFUL don’t get me wrong! I recommend this car to EVERYONE. But we are in the process of buying a house and my $715 payment could definitely be used a little differently now. It deserves to be loved more than I can give it. 😔

Check Vroom as well. They were much higher on my wrangler (which I sold to get my Telluride).

The Vroom process went well for you? They are indeed much higher than Carvana etc. Thx.

For my 2021 EX, Carvana is $3000 higher than Vroom now. Not sure why just random differences in their algorithms I'd guess. Worth checking all the options. Carmax/Vroom/Carvana
