• THIS SECTION IS ONLY FOR DISCUSSIONS RELATING TO BUYING A TELLURIDE. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT SECTION FOR POSTING MESSAGES ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUYING A TELLURIDE. THANK YOU!

  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I originally put in my order in April. I was told by the salesperson (who is no longer there) that my order was submitted the following week. I was called the first week of June saying I would be getting a 2022. And that possible delivery would be in October. I joined this forum a few days ago and upon reading it sounds like despite my order being switched to a 2022, that should not affect my order in line. I contacted the dealership to see where in line I was and how many orders they place for Tellurides in a month. I did not receive that info but was told that my order was placed on Tuesday and in the queue. Does this sound right? Did someone at the dealership drop the ball? I'm very frustrated over here.

You don't have an order.

If you specified what you want and left the dealership a deposit to get on a wait list for an allocation, you have a back order.

It's a waiting game until you get to the top of the waitlist and you're next in line.

When you get there, the next allocation the dealership receives should go to you, and Kia Forward Ordering System (KFOS) will pick up your order form and turn it into a real order.

Soon after, Kia will publish your window sticker on their website and you will see the VIN and an itemized list of everything going into your build.

Which website does it get published to? Does the dealership get alerted when Kia picks up the order?
