Wow just two days to build. I guess we can thank Henry Ford for that. Typically how long is it from the time the vin is issued until production starts?

Vin is issued on paint in date.. you can reference that screen shot to get an idea of how long takes to build... looks like a few days and then gets inspected.

Awesome news, thank you! Is there a 'typical' timeline for how long it takes from when the VIN is assigned to when the vehicle get designated as in route? Or is it different with every vehicle?

Just latest ETA.. seeing a lot of ETA’s slipping a week lately. Have a ton at my store personally

Meant to ask on my VIN (5XYP5DHC3NG196636), does it show in transit? Or has it not yet left?

Also, is it normal for other Telly's with a much higher last 6 digits arriving earlier than ones with lower?

Have to have a VIN for me to track.
If accepted then they will have a delivery detail that will show projected ETA as well as steps to build. A VIN is assigned once Telluride goes into “Paint In” date.

here is what it looks like if you want to send to your sales consultant and ask if they can print/send this for you.

@StephenCantrelle , thanks for that great information. My dealer is still giving me the run-around, and says they can't provide anything until we have a VIN. They won't respond to requests for the "Paint In" eta, which is when we should have a VIN, correct? I've tried speaking with the salesperson, and the General Sales Manager who puts in all the orders.

Can you confirm that if they have an official delivery ETA, that the order must have been accepted by KIA, and thus should be able to access that page of other ETAs you screenshotted? Even without a VIN yet?

I'm really starting to think that the order isn't actually accepted and they're just making up the ETA

Yes everything you mentioned is spot on..

Only variable may be if they don't know where to locate the screen I took screenshot from.. which is possible that the GM doesn't know as its not in an obvious spot.

many salesman definitely wont know where to look for that information.

I am just curious, I ordered and deposited $1000 on Monday for a new 2022, the dealer said I should purchase the one they had on the lot because it could take 6 months for a new order to come in, but I did not like the color they had in stock. What is the average time these could take? thanks! Im in NY
