  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... After multiple efforts. I have my exterior detailing down to 5 1/2 hours with a quick interior at 30 minutes. I have enclosed a picture of my Detailing Wall which includes all the stuff I use in my.20210701_181451.webp20210701_181906.webp regime. I enjoy doing it and great exercise for this 70 year old. I experimented with various cleaning and detailing fluids and items until I got the rhythm. If interested. I can share what and how

Looks great. I agree, detailing is a workout. Especially if you aren’t using an orbital rotary tool. This long standing thread might be of interest to you.

Do you use an orbital tool?

Do you use an orbital tool?
Yes I do, but because it saves me so much more time applying wax and dressing. There is too much surface area too cover compared to a sedan. Even with the tool, I still feel like I take too much time. When you have kids, free time is hard to come by.

Which one do you use

No it is not nice...it is freakin' great but I was in the workforce for 60 years having started at age 10 1/2 selling newspapers (Grit) and then delivering a morning and afternoon edition of city newspaper for several years until 13. Then I worked in a TV repair shop after school and on Saturdays until I turned 17 and joined the Army. I earned it. My Telly and beach houses were retirement gifts for 6 decades in the workforce.

70 year old activity (and taste) I aspire to. I’ve got about 30 years to catch up but will hopefully retire from teaching in less than 20.

I love the Blakc/Blk. I have the same combination! :-) Sorry if I missed and you posted this somewhere else. What product(s) do you use to clean your interior seats and dash? Also best product for exterior washing?
Thank you
