Unexpected added accessories

Just had a failcat appearance recently, and the window sticker shows unwanted add-ons that were not on the (correct) initial k dealer form as submitted. It has been confirmed with Stephen Cantrelle (tipped, thanks) that the vin is actually mine.

So either they were added later, or I was sent a slightly altered initial order form.

im having the salesperson double check that it’s coming in correctly, without giving away the failcat secret.

But I’m going to have to see what they can remove or how to deal with the discrepancy. It’s about $550 worth of extras.

are dealers “handcuffed” to the options once they’re purchased with the vehicle on invoice?

any tips?

I've heard factory can add accessories to your order. My Monroney sticker showed up with wheel locks, which I don't want... But I'm not going to argue over $60. Someone last month had the rear entertainment system on theirs, which I believe they were able to successfully cancel by having the dealer contact the factory.

Once the car shows up, it's too late to cancel any included accessories...I don't think the dealer can take them off, and they certainly have no incentive to... Hopefully they can help now that you noticed it early.

I wanted to add an accessory to mine, and my dealer said I couldn’t after order was accepted. He stated he’d have to get the parts dept. to order them for me now to get them in for when I pick up my car.
Who knows?

How are you passing the time until your Telly arrives? I personally have been watching and rewatching every video on YouTube regarding the Telluride. Big fan of these vids, where I can envision myself driving in my KT once it arrives. So what are you doing to pass the time until the arrival?

This still doesn't work for me. But changing "en" to "us" works every time. Wish Failcat would change the links. I tried contacting @DruKe to bring this up.

Update (for anyone who might be helped by this strategy). I contacted the salesman and said I'd heard of some people having accessories added erroneously. I asked him to please double check mine (I didn't mention failcat). He discovered the same additions, contacted his rep with Kia, who removed them. Now, the window sticker from failcat correctly displays no added features.
