• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Was wondering how true the off roading capability of this car is. Can it drive through 2 feet of water without a lift and has All-Terrain tires?
Asking because I sat with a buddy who had a 4Runner without any mods and he was able to get through it without any issues. Would be great to know how far others have pushed this car. Thanks in advance

I’m sure the question above will piss some people off because it’s a vehicle driving through water, but I’ve seen other non modified SUVs pull through, so I’m asking out of curiosity.

All I know is that when I hit steep driveways at a 45° angle, you can feel the whole car wrenching and flexing like it's going to snap in half. She's not all that rigid to begin with.

Now, whipping around in a half inch of mud on a closed course like the original commercials showed, you're probably fine.

Interesting, I’ve had a decent experience with steep driveways with the telluride. I guess depending on the angle I approached the driveway but car felt fully capable.
