Fog light kit - Factory Installed

Hello everyone,

This is my first post here. I have been waiting for fog lights to be available in the lower trims since I want the second row bench for the additional seating and currently they only come standard on the SX trim and were not even an option. They finally show up as an option on the KIA website but I tried to place an order with my local dealership and they say that it is not available in the system. I was looking to see if anyone knows when these will be available to order with your build. The dealership I'm working with stated they will keep checking every day but they're not sure when it will be available. They also stated they can placed the order right now and add the option if it becomes available before Kia picks it up, but if they pick up before the option is put in the system then I'm out of luck. I rather have it done in the factory and not aftermarket so any insights would be helpful.

If the dealer can't order it the way you want it, they can always order the part and install it when it arrives. A lot of options are handled that way.

It was an option that was discussed at first with the dealer but when they got back to me they mentioned that part is not even available for them to order either. Of course it was going to be more than the $450 listed online if installed at the factory as well. She did mention they had a similar situation with the rear entertainment center option not showing up as well in the ordering system when it was online so we're hoping it's just going to be a short wait. I was just hoping someone might have a better timeline of when it will be available. Currently delaying my order because of this.
