Replacement Speaker???

They quoted me $900 for the speaker alone...I need to confirm warranty. My telly is 18 months old.

Unless you caused it by misuse, that is exactly what a warranty is for.

It likely falls under "misuse"...my other half was transporting something that damaged the speaker cover. I am told the entire speaker must now be replaced.

Seems a qualified installer should be able to recover this with some generic speaker cover material if a replacement is too costly.
