• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What have you done / plan to do to your Telly?

Look at the lower rear bumper lights. He added pin stripes to cover some of it. Making it look like hockey stick. Gives the rear a different look.
lol...actually i was trying to break the "hockey stick" look. Ideally I was trying to turn the backup lens to clear but removing them was difficult and I wasn't sure it it was even doable. I tried other options including wrapping them with transparent vinyl wrap but the lens was too red and they still show everything. So i thought just add a simple white stripe (car color) should break that whole hockey stick look. The two black stripes just to add color. I am glad it takes some effort to see the differences because i want to make it subtly. lol.... I probably will change to license plate frame to black.

The CAI is an interesting idea. Can I ask which one is appropriate for the Telluride?
K&N 77-5300KS to be specific. In theory the CAI improves MPG, in practice. I'm not sure. I topped out at 28.2 MPG on a trip today even with the bare roof rack. Finished it at 26.4 mpg...so maybe it does?

Okay, that’s good information to know. From my research it looks like there could be a slight HP boost as well. It’s nice to have the option to customize.

If we are being honest no one is noticing any “HP increase” from any mods such as a CAI on an NA engine.

You can change the throttle response to make it both more responsive and also faster under WOT; that actually might achieve the goal you’re looking for.

I'm having the same issue. I cannot find a suitable all weather cargo mat for the rear. I have searched high heavens looking at the pitiful options. Only thing that meets my standards is the one offered in Canada. I hear you can buy it online, just have to pay a fortune for shipping. I might break down and do this. Otherwise, I will still be using my old trusted cheap tarp that actually works really really well. My wife hates it because it is cheap looking but the darn thing is highly functional and works better than anything else out there. I just hauled a bunch of lillies I dug up to my father-in-law. I was able to fold up the edges so nothing spilled out or over the edges. Then when I was done, I pulled it out, shook it, and just folded it back up. Tell me something that would work better than this?
WeatherTech's telluride cargo kit is solid

I will not be sitting at the Kia dealership the rest of my life.

Lincoln Navigator never saw the inside of the service department also. The pilot also.

Way to many transmission problems and Kia is not fixing them. Waiting for that 100,000 mile warranty to end. Kia has the worst repairs because they just keep saying - no parts - no speak English
I had a 2020 with all the bells and whistles. It was in the shop for the front end shaking and O2 sensor. The front end they replaced the right axle and still the same problem. They replaced something on the left axle and said it was good. It wasn't as bad and the mechanic told me what I feel was normal. Long story short Kia replaced the vehicle with a 2021. Not a problem 1 with 9000 miles. Lemon law

It's a fun SUV. After 35 years of owning vehicles, this is the first one that I've done a bunch of modifications to a brand new vehicle. ENJOY!

Nice work. Those wheels look sooo much better blacked out. Not sure you need the 22’s, they wouldn’t give you much rubber protection. The tinted taillights are a good idea.. are they typically street legal?

Good question on the lights. Any amount of tint is illegal. Same with front window tint….I went light on both to lessen the attention. 20% on the front windows - 5% for the backs.

Gonna sell the stock rims so if interested or know someone who might be. Please holla!

thx for the kudos! May the force be with you!

In Illinois, it’s illegal to tint head lights and brake lights.
