• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... After reviewing this forum for 2 months before my 2021 Telluride SXP/NF/T was delivered, I made the following additions once I got my new Telly home;

(1) Tint - front and passenger windows
(2) Paint Protective Film (PPF) - Full front bumper, 1/4 hood, mirrors and door pockets
(3) Swap front and rear emblems to carbon fiber Klexus
(4) Added pinstriping down both sides that end in the back with the word T E L L U R I D E (nice subtle touch)
(5) Installed front lower grill protector screens
(6) Added designer door striker covers (black)
(7) Installed a dashcam (front & rear)
(8) Purchased new winter tires and wheels (new black wheels look nicer than OEM nightfall wheels)
(9) Painted the rear muffler end pipe black - looks awesome (why did they install a chrome end pipe on the nightfall package ????)
(10) WeatherTech Telluride FloorLiner mats (all-weather would be better)

What have you done?

PS - The pic of the front grill screen is not mine but matches exactly to what mine looks like (same make, model and color vehicle)

I was shocked as well when the dealer called 30 days after ordering to say it was made and on it's way. Wasn't expecting it until late December into January.

Added pics to my original message.

What was involved with paining the muffler end pipe black? That sounds like something I'd like to do.

I removed the exhaust pipe off the rubber holder at the rear so the pipe could drop a little more. Taped and protected the paint and undercarriage. Sanded the chrome area lightly with fine sandpaper. Added a coat of 2000 degree primer spray paint and then 3 coats of 500 degree (BBQ spray paint - exhaust can get to 300-400 degrees) gloss black spray paint.

Painting the exhaust tips is brilliant , well done ! I painted the tips on my Stinger and plan the same when I get the Telly agree with you regarding the Nightfall wheels , mine will be for sale before I even get it !

How are exhaust tips holding up with the paint? Was planning on doing mine so wanting to make sure no issues with the exhaust temp causing flaking or bubbling. Thanks.

It's been a year since I painted mine and they look just as great today as they did when I first painted them.
