• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We just bought the 2022 Telluride S and I already have a few qualms. As amazing as this crossover is, why in the world did they not put a power lift gate on all models?! Some have posted about colormatching the bumper to the body and I find that to be a nice upgrade, especially if you throw a lift on it, which is what I'm planning to do in the near future. Anyone have any pics of a color matched bumper with a lift?

What was the thought process of buying the S if the power lift gate was such an importance? I know everyone has a price point but there are always certain features I am not going to buy a car without anymore. Heated seats, power lift gate, accident avoidance features, are just a few. As much as I like the Telluride, if it buying one didn't offer at least some of these in my price range, I would buy something that did and fit my price. Hey but that just me. I would also stay away from modifications from 3rd parties. I can't see your warranty on the car covering anything that may occur from the use or installation of items not purchased with the car.

Yeah, I had been considering buying one but not as soon as I wound up doing. The radiator cracked and the transmission went out on our previous vehicle and I was needing something ASAP. Vegas has absolutely 0 Telluride inventory. It was what I wanted so I bought the only AWD model available. And the EX was adding an exorbitant amount for only having FWD.

Ok, I can sympathize with the need and the urgency. Now that you have some time, you could order what you want and if the used car market holds, sell this for what you paid. Good luck.

Yes. Pitts suggestion is a good one. But, if you are willing to go through all the hassle, definitely take the time to think about the other features you would like to have. Prioritize them and match the results to your price point. Also, it would not hurt to see what the median price your current Telluride would get on the market. You might be able to sell it for above what you paid. For this model, people are willing to do some crazy things when they really want something.
