• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is it a loud car , anything annoying or not pleasant about the truck?

I highly recommend a test drive to help you decide! The engine and drivetrain are the same across all trims, in case you don’t find an SX to look at in person.

I did test drive it , but I am reading a lot of different issues that ppl are experiencing.

Is it a loud car
The Telluride was the quietest vehicle that Car and Driver tested in calendar year 2019, period. Regardless of price. This is a very quiet vehicle.

I love mine! I got it in May. Have a little over 6000 miles. I came from a Toyota Sienna minivan. I actually think this has less road and engine noise. I haven't experienced anything negative. I guess it all depends on your previous experiences and expectations. How did you feel about your test drive?

Quietest car I have owned. No issues whatsoever while approaching 2,000 miles. Keep any issue-based post in perspective. I am yet to find a posted issue that is universal or even remotely common. Coming from a Honda Pilot which was much louder inside and did not have as comfortable ride or interior. Nor did it have the same interior space. Hands down better than the Pilot.

I test drove the new Pathfinder and the Telluride . They both drove similarly but I thought the cabin noise was more noticeable in the Telluride. The interior finishes are hands down better the the Telluride the feature that won for me was that the second row seating. In the Pathfinder the seats go all the way back and squish the 3rd passenger when they are being placed in position.

How loud you perceive the car entirely depends on what other vehicles you have experience with. Compared to an Audi or BMW, you might find the road noise to be excessive. Compared to the Escape I used to drive, sheesh it's way better. Trust your own ears!

I love my SX, it's one of the quietest I have ever driven but yes I agree it's a personal preference. I came from a Toyota Rav4 and there was a lot more road noise.
