• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just saw the new 2022 Kia Telliride and love the née emblem on front, back, and car wheels. I have the 2021 Kia Telluride where the emblem is the oval shape. I want to change mine out to the 2022 emblem but don’t know how.
Has anyone changed the emblem to the new 2022 emblem? If so, what did you do or go about getting it done. Please share with pictures too.

this is the new emblem in case you haven’t seen it yet

Looking at the picture. Looks like you would have to swap the whole grill in order to have the new emblem. Hopefully someone with a 2022 can chime in and answer this. 2021 have the oval mounting plate where it snaps off. But the 2022 don’t.

I’m interested in this as well. Figured it would need a new grille for the front. Not sure if it would be possible for the back.

No doubt we’d need the new grill from what I’ve seen. Why do you doubt the rear is a possibility though?

22 rear emblem is around 8inches wide by 2” tall (going off memory and wife has the car out of town right now. Might be 8.5”)Cut out a piece of cardboard and see how it fits on a 21. To get 22 emblems on the front you would need a grill swap.

forgot to add that if the 22 telluride emblem is too large for the rear of a 21, you could go with a badge from the forte which is 6.25 wide by about 1.25 tall.

I did it … but it’s not super cute …
Removed the oval top, kept the base.
Bought a Kia K8 front metal emblem from eBay. I’d like the real look (bigger emblem, at least), but they’re not available anywhere yet. I know I don’t have the embossed back into the original grill …
Then I put an oval plastic plate from an existing piece of plastic I had, which replaced the top piece of the badge.
« Painted » the grill and my oval plastic plate with a big bold permanent Sharpie pen.
Not sure if it’s better than before, but yet, not that bad.
For the back, I just put a decal on top of the actual emblem …
That Sharpie pen is not that permanent, though 🤪

I own a 2020 and really don't even give the KIA logo on the car any thought at all. What is the end game of switching it with a newer one? Does it look that much better you are willing to spend hundred of dollars to change it? If it was just a simple swap, hmm maybe. Do you want to have people think your car is suddenly a year newer? Feeling concerned that your car's year didn't make the new logo change? So many questions.

Come on guys, the new emblem / logo is to big. I am so happy I have the 2021 just so I don't have to see that emblem every time I wash the car.
Maybe it's just me?

I posted this in another thread…. Can’t remember which one. But this was on a new Sorento.
