• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi Telluride Forum Folks,

I plan to purchase a new 2022 Telluride SX with FWD. In order to get it, I emailed several local dealers to get an OTD price.
I got a couple of offers from local Kia dealers regarding 2022 Telluride SX FWD.
The OTD price is $54- $56K. The MSRP price is $46-$47K. I just wondered if the offers were reasonable.
I am aware that there would be dealer markup or addendum, but is it worth it to pay $10K more than the MSRP?

You are going to get answers both for and against. Me personally, pay MSRP, maybe 2k markup max if you can’t wait. It is still possible even in these days to get at MSRP if you do your homework.

What it's worth is entirely up to you, and no one else. Ask yourself: If the MSRP were 20k more and you were getting it for 10k below MSRP, would it make you feel better (even though the net out of your pocket is the same)? The value to you and your family, in exactly your stage of life, with exactly your finances ... is something only you can evaluate.

I would never pay that sort of mark-up, but clearly people do every day, or these cars wouldn't be priced like this. If you have the luxury of time, there are several dealers in GA where you can still order at MSRP, and wait 3-8 months. If you have to have it sooner, then you don't have a ton of options. It's a great vehicle and you're going to have a tough time getting something else in the 55k range that's better...but I personally would not give them the satisfaction.
