Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Awesome. I have the same combo ordered in early August before the KFOS opened that month. Looks like it did not get picked this month too as I haven't heard anything from the dealership.

I ordered from Bramlett on 8/30 and haven’t heard a thing. They are a pretty low volume dealer. I fear I may be waiting well into next year. I would consider ordering elsewhere except I’m not gonna lose the $1000 deposit. I ordered from I25 Kia in Longmont, CO before this with a $500 refundable deposit. A couple days later I switched to Bramlett because it’s much closer and they also don’t mark up over MSRP. Since then, I25 Kia has 10x or more the amount of orders on Failcat. I actually think they ordered my initial order last week (saw it on failcat). Given that many big dealers just keep canceled orders in, I wouldn’t be surprised.
I've seen on Facebook posts that someone who placed an order on July 21st for an SX is still waiting for the order to get picked. Hopefully some of them will be picked in Oct KFOS
I reached out about my June order that was picked up in the August KFOS. They told me to expect my eta of 10/28 to shift a few weeks. I still haven't seen anything in failcat.

2 weeks would be nice! but that means possibly 3 more weeks of checking failcat. i'm ready to be done!
edit: Success, we just needed to talk about it for it to show up in failcat!

Like I said, all we had to do was talk about it! The funny thing is, its gonna be my wifes car and I think I'm more excited about it than she is! Not looking forward to the new car itch for like 4 years haha.
So total time looks like order -> 2 months to KFOS -> 2 months -> VIN + 2 weeks ETA. I'll be honest, I was mentally committed to 6 months. I'll take 4.5 ish months.
Figures crossed @starkdaz @MCTelly . if you follow my trend, you'll hopefully catch this next KFOS opening.
