  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I live in Colorado and I’m planning on putting in my order for my Telluride tomorrow. Based on my research, there are 2 high volume dealers in Colorado who sell for MSRP. I25 kia and Arapahoe Kia. They both require a $100 refundable deposit.

What is everyone’s thoughts on putting in an order at both dealers and canceling which ever one arrives last? I’m purchasing based on my own research and didn’t use anyone’s time test driving ect. I’m trying to decide if that’s wrong and I shouldn’t do it, or if it’s no big deal since they will have no issues selling after an order is canceled and probably even sell it for a premium. Thoughts?

Also, Did anyone use Arapahoe Kia? How was the experience?

Thoughtful of you to ask. Personally I don’t like it because it means other behind you have to wait longer and the artificial demand is prolonged. That’s just me and maybe I’m just being grumpy. Good luck to you and don’t pay any attention to what I said above.

I’ve purchased from Arapaho Kia in 2015, and just got a Telluride from Peak Kia.
I had a much better experience with Peak, over Arapahoe.
No down, MSRP, 3mo wait. Shannon was who helped me. They did everything I asked (except lower the price).
Regarding ordering from different places… most businesses don’t care about scruples and just want your order. But ask yourself if you care about how you treat others then decide. Easy peasy.

Great point. I didn’t even think about that.

Honestly because your in Colorado it’s ok to order two because there will definitely be a Californian willing to pickup your dropped order!

PEAK Kia is currently charging a markup. I ordered with Arapahoe (no markup) and the experience has been awesome… My salesman Jakeob Taylor has been amazing as well as the sales manager Joel Garbe. Both of them respond almost immediately to all of my many questions and status requests. Business card attached.
