Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... If u don't mind me asking how was the process? Wait time? and was there a dealer markup?
Someone said they paid mrsp at Dutchess in Any
i ordered from Murray in Pa as well. They sell at msrp, 394 doc fee. He quoted me 8-10 months. I ordered in June and it should arrive in 2 weeks. 500 deposit
No markup, I was lucky to jump on an existing order that someone backed out of that matched my specs, so instead of the 6-8 months quoted it only took 2 and half. Easiest car I ever bought, mostly because there wasn't any time wasted negotiating price back and forth

Where are you located? I found a "reasonable" kia in CT.... im trying to figure it out myself... will let you know how it actually goes.

I ordered mine from Executive in Wallingford, CT... MSRP for the LX... $500 over for EX... not sure about SX? The most reasonable I could find. Good luck!
I ordered mine (SX) from Premier KIA in Branford, CT. Only dealership in CT that I found that was doing custom orders at MSRP (for all trims). Also considered Executive KIA in Wallingford CT, but theyre charging above MSRP for anything above LX.
Premier KIA in Branford has been great. Very transparent and responsive whenever I have a question/want to check in. I was given a delivery date <3months from the time KIA accepted my build...so very happy about that.
Can I ask you what they gave you for a wait time? Thanks! ... was the deposit refundable?

That's where I ordered from on September 28th. I was given a time line of 8-12 months. I ordered an sx Awd.He said a lower trim would have been less of a wait, but I'm willing to wait. I honestly think my wait will be more like 5-6 months. I was 71st in line at that point. Did he give you a time line? Just curious.

Wow 16 months is crazy! Might as well make payments and be 1/2 done by the time you get it.
Right, I actually had to re-read Roger's email a couple of times. I guess at 16 months, it would be a 2023?

I would hope they would bump it up a model year... im sure 2023s will roll out around May/ June.
