Has anyone with a SXP installed tint on their windshield? If so, did it impact the HUD?
I don't know where everyone lives but...in my state.... (according to State Police)
Tint darkness for sedans:
Windshield: Must allow more than 70% of light in, any darkness on top 3 inches.
Front Side windows: Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side windows: Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Rear Window: Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Tint darkness for SUV and vans:
Windshield: Must allow more than 70% of light in, any darkness on top 3 inches.
Front Side windows: Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side windows: Any darkness can be used
. Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.

Factory tint is what is accepted. Many PSP that I know, have a tint meter in their cars... I am not saying they will do anything but.... you never know... like LED light displays under vehicles... "Murdering" your vehicle is one thing but...there may be limits you are unaware of... I have a muscle car that is a burgundy. I thought it would be cool to put bugundy plexi over my headlights with velcro (take them off at night) as well as a smoked License plate cover.... was informed a no no even if only on in the daytime. Know your laws and be careful
