Order “Picked Up”… Now What?

I placed an order on October 1st and was told today (October 22) that Kia has “picked it up”. I checked Failcat and don’t see my vehicle listed yet… I searched by my dealership’s code number and my selected trim, but there is no VIN for my order yet.

From what I’ve read on this forum, the fact that my order was picked up is surely a good sign, but I’m not sure what timeline to expect at this point. It seems like the lines are getting longer, rather than shorter.

Does anybody have a sense of what a typical delivery date would be based on my date of “order pick up”?

Your dealer should have tour eta in a few days. I have seen some orders getting picked up witb eta or Jan/Feb recently. Your vin should pop up on failcat about a month before your eta.

Getting a custom order picked up in the same month as ordering seems crazy fast to me. Curious What trim did you order and from where?

Getting a custom order picked up in the same month as ordering seems crazy fast to me. Curious What trim did you order and from where?

I ordered an LX from Muncie Kia. I was told most orders are for the higher trims. There are longer lines for those models, but Kia doesn’t produce many LX’s. My guess is that I just got lucky with timing.
