Here is another thread for the same issue. Doesn’t look like anybody has found a solution yet.Everytime I go to start my telly, my brake paddle is so hard, I struggle to push it down so that I can start my engine.
Has someone noticed this or is it just me?
Thanks, I think its my habit to keep pressing the break paddle after engine is off. I need to try releasing it as soon as engine turns off. Here is another thread for the same issue. Doesn’t look like anybody has found a solution yet.

Won't start; brake pedal high and firm
Problem started 4 days ago. First thing after resting overnight; tried to start but brake pedal felt very high and hard. Car would not start. Not even a sound from the engine. Engine mobilizer light lit seeming to indicate that my key wasn't good. Used other key fob next day...same thing...tellurideforum.org
Maybe waiting a little while before trying again.
Also make sure once the engine is off, you are not releasing and stepping on the brake pedal once more. That could cause the pedal to become stiff.
Or how about before? Put the car in park, release brake, turn off engine. 9 out of 10 dentists recommend that. Thanks, I think its my habit to keep pressing the break paddle after engine is off. I need to try releasing it as soon as engine turns off.
Even better idea put in park, apply parking brake, release brake pedal, then turn off.Or how about before? Put the car in park, release brake, turn off engine. 9 out of 10 dentists recommend that.
The parking brake is going to automatically set when you turn the car off.Even better idea put in park, apply parking brake, release brake pedal, then turn off.
My bad...learn something every day. This is only true if you use Auto Hold at the time you park. Otherwise you need to manually engage the electronic parking brake.
