• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just did the November 2021 update. Tri-home screen gone and the new radio display is hideous. Does anyone know if we can get the old tri-plot home back and get a non-40’s radio theme?

I’m sure this is probably going to come off as harsh, but it’s now been a year since the first update (in November 2020) that incorporated the modern Kia/Hyundai UI. This most recent update (November 2021) is now the third one to look like this… it isn’t new, and it isn’t reversible.

Search the forum for “update” for pages upon pages of information across multiple threads of great information sprinkled in with lots of complaining.

Newest one.
April.
Last November.

Thanks and no harm taken! Purchased my 2021 in December 2021 and it came with the old interface and I missed the April update. I was having trouble with the UVO interface so dealer suggested to update. I am kind of bummed out that in two update cycles it still sucks…

I will keep my fingers crossed for something better in the next one. Ironically I know someone that just purchased a new Acura MDX and the “home” screen looks very similar (which I don’t like).

I am still wondering if I dislike the 50's nixie-style display on the November 2021 update, or if it's really cute. I think I'm leaning towards dislike.
