  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Lots of discussion on buying from non local dealerships seeking closer to msrp prices. When you all have used non local dealer to order, do you just call and talk to a sales person? I feel like I am getting shut out immediately with out-of-state fees (5000k from one dealership!!!) or “we don’t accept non local orders”. Is there something I can say to keep from immediate price gouges and shut downs? Thanks!!

You just have to keep on searching. You can find threads in here covering this very item. I recommend going thru those to find something nearest you. Two that come off the top of my head is I-25 Kia in Colorado. I think they go by Fowler now. I have used this dealership, Dominic was my guy, very easy to work with to do an out of state purchase. This is a higher volume dealership and likely one of your best bets to get one sooner. I have also heard good things about Lucas from Kia Muncie in Indiana, although not as high of a volume and likely a longer wait. You can start with those or search more within these forums.

First, where are you? There may be a dealer close to you. That makes the transaction easier as a whole.

You are not obligated to tell them whether you're local or not. Just email internet sales advisors at dealership identified in this forum as selling at MSRP. You should not have a problem placing an order, and then picking up/shipping the vehicle depending on your preferences. If you're shipping, far and away quickest turnaround time is at Fowler Kia in Longmont, CO.

Some MSRP dealers do restrict sales to their local area. Again, depending on where you are, you should be able to find something on this forum that is local or shipping-friendly.
