Available '22 Telluride SX-P soon in D/FW, TX

Thanks to a couple local dealerships fighting to earn my business earlier in the year, I wound up with more than one Telluride on order. As such, there will be a Telluride available in January that I won't be purchasing and will be glad to facilitate transferring the order to someone here on the forum (after I pick up my Telluride in the next week or two). The dealership might only sell to someone local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but I am not positive on this. Details below:

Initial ETA: Jan 2, 2022 (subject to change)
Packages: Prestige
Exterior color: Everlasting Silver
Interior color: Dune Brown
Factory-installed options: Tow hitch w/ harness (same as towing package but without the self-leveling rear shocks) & carpeted floor mats
MSRP: $49,095
Selling price: MSRP + $898 dealer add (tint, nitrogen, dealer prep)

I actually got lucky and got a Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy while I wait on my Telluride. Although I'm really enjoying it. After being told last week that my order from Huffines Corinth is likely pushed out to 6-8 months, I may just keep this and get my deposit back.

Okay I’m going to ask what is potentially a very stupid question… is there a reason you wouldn’t buy the first and then trade it in for the second and take an equity check?

Not a stupid question at all! I've sold or traded quite a few vehicles this year, which is pushing the maximum number before I need a dealers' license. Also, with the taxes and fees factored in, plus the $898 dealer add Moritz tacks on I wouldn't be making much, if any, money.

1. Good for you; didn’t possibly imagine that the answer would be “I’ve done this too many times to be legal”

And based on recent posts it seems that their wait time has increased to 6-8+ months and I would prefer not to wait that long into 2022.
