• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Good afternoon all,

I’m having an issue on my 2021 Telluride. The volume on my stereo won’t work, even when I turn the radio completely off the sound still plays despite it saying “Radio/Media Off”. When I try to turn the volume up or down, it says it’s turning up and down my iPhone, even when it’s not connected. Even when I disconnected the phone entirely from Bluetooth on the car it’s saying that. So, I have no way to turn off the radio or control it’s volume (which was quite loud before this issue started). This only started happening today and has never been an issue before now.

Anyone else experiencing this problem and know how I can fix it?

Thank you!

Have you tried resetting the head unit with the button below the volume knob?

Well, the issue resolved itself randomly without me doing anything. However, I can try that if this happens again. But, I don’t have a button below my volume knob. Which button are you referring to?

Whoops, I meant to the right of the volume knob. You will need a paperclip or pen.

I went and looked after you posted that. Figured that’s what you meant after seeing it. Thank you!

I have had this happen twice now, maddening!

Reset button did the trick. Thank god, still have 10 hours left on our way to FL! Thanks for that tip!
