Use failcat to track how many builds similar to your trim have been made in the last 3-6 months. Count how many of those have been shipped to your dealer each month. Ask your dealer how many people are ahead of you, and for your trim level.

Should give you an idea for timelines.

In the meantime, nobody is holding you back from searching other dealers while waiting for your order. Many owners on this forum have placed multiple refundable deposits and can easily back out when the earliest car is available.

if it’s not a high volume dealer good luck. I ordered from a non high volume dealer around the same time and they’re saying may. I ordered from a high volume dealer last month and am waiting to see which comes first

We also ordered in August and our order has not been picked up. Our dealership receives around 40-45 Tellurides a month. However, they sell at MSRP with no mandatory add-ons so there is a long line of orders. Even though it is a decent monthly volume, there are a lot of orders waiting in line to get picked up -- thus the long wait. I suppose high volume dealers who are charging above MSRP might have a shorter line and a shorter wait as that "weeds out" many potential buyers.

my original dealership only got 10 a month, which i learned after waiting 3 months and doing more research. I ordered from I25 (now has a new name) who sell at MSRP and are high volume. I'm surprised your order hasn't been filled yet since 50 is a pretty good sized dealer

I ordered 7/19 and it came in October 21st. Picked it up a few days later. Every dealer has their own unique backlog. So one dealer can be 9 months while another is 3 months.

One reason I picked a high volume dealer. They told me 14 to 20 weeks, actual was 13 weeks. We had picked an unusual exterior color/interior color combo, so I was somewhat concerned it was going to take a lot longer. Also tow package was a must.

Car arrived a bit early, exactly what I ordered.

Ordered ours on June 13, had the VIN pop up in Failcat on 12/7 and received last Friday (the 17th).
