• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What are everyone’s opinions on Liberty Mutual and Progressive? Using Progressive right now and am happy with them. Liberty Mutual seems to offer better coverage, but their reviews are horrid.

r/Insurance
I would recommend visiting this sub to also get an idea on LM or just about any other company out there. I currently have Progressive right now , they seem OK for the two years I’ve been a member after leaving SF.

Oof. Liberty is definitely a no go. Wonder why Kia does a deal through them of all places.

I'm not sure what those companies business dynamics are but spending 10's of millions on advertising seems to be one of them. I have been using Erie Insurance for over 20 years. I don't know if I have ever seen a single advertisement from them.

I have been with the same insurance conpany for more than thirty years now. Same agent, too! Life, home and auto. You will get more coverage with "umbrella protection" for less premiums. I can call my agent for questions. We are first name basis. When we were younger, we used to bump into each other at the local gym apart from stopping by his office once a year to update. Relationships built over time earn trust and respect. I also advise this when dealing with our mechanics. Same for our doctors. Thanks.

I have had Progressive Insurance for many years including auto,boat,utv..
They are easy to deal with but call company direct (800-999 8781) rates are cheaper than going thru local agent.

For Costco Executive Card Members, they have vetted and recommend this insurance company. I have found the rates to be lower and the service very good.
Nice. I might check them out. Thanks!

Yea, that is who I have now. Thought I’d ask about the one Kia keeps trying to push mainly. Although I am going to check out that CostCo one as well.

I have Geico now, and have had Progressive in the past. Geico was great when Hurricane Harvey rolled through, paying out vehicles at more than their market value as (and I heard Progressive was fair as well). Progressive and Geico both have great customer service the few times I've had to call them, very polite and helpful. Customer service and reliability aside, I usually quote both providers using an online quote every 6 mos or a year, occasionally one or the other has given a much lower rate.
