• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi Folks,

2022 EX with 5000km: Brand new studded snow tires: can’t get up gentle driveway slope in snow.

Following issues:
”check FCW system”
”Check BSW system”
*traction control not working (why it has become useless in the snow)
*autohold is lit up in orange
“terrain mode unavailable”

-I’m assuming it’s all connected… kamloops Kia has not responded to my calls or texts, I have a service booked but not sure I can get this vehicle safely to Kamloops (250km)

-checked to see if snow or ice has covered sensors. no luck.

anybody else?

I will not drive it! I will pay for towing. But first, see if Kia will help to reimburse towing. Did you call them? Thanks.

Update: Failure is due to a faulty rear wheel speed sensor. Kia Canada towed it and the dealership initially would not help out with a loaner but after chatting the GM they sent one out to us. It’s been almost a month and no updates on repair.

Update to original post: 6 weeks and still not repair. No replacement part (Rear Speed Sensor) available on the continent apparently, and has been back ordered from Korea. I call every week and find out the arrival date is being pushed back another week. Starting to wonder if the vehicle will be in the shop as along as it took us to get from factory. I loved the vehicle, but if this is reflective of its reliability and reparability, I'm considering selling it and finding something else. Has anyone else had this issue?
