Well today i join the Telluride forum. I just recently as last night traded in my 2018 Honda accord 2.0T sport for a 2022 Telluride S. So to make a long story a bit shorter. My wife was driving my Honda because i recently purchased a Mustang GT, and used her Jeep Cherokee as the down payment. So i got my dream car and she was missing her SUV. Not that i handed her a piece of crap. She just missed being higher off the ground. So we set out to get a Kia Seltos. Little did we know how hard those are to come by where i am in MD. She had her mind set on the Seltos EX since it was under 30K and loaded with about everything her Jeep and the Honda had as far as features. We researched went online found one called the dealer and let them know we were on the way. LOL got there and that said car we saw on the dealer website was sold. They had a lower trim but i told the wife dont settle on a car with less features. So on to the next we found a dealer in VA that had 7 according to their web page. So we called, they said they actually have 2 left. Since they were on the lot they wouldnt take a deposit from us to hold. So we jumped in the car and made the hour and a half drive to try and acquire the Seltos. Half way there we called and the guy told us it was on a test drive. Uggghh... So we get there and its legit being sold as we pull up. Thats when the sales guy begins to talk and says something about the dealer mark ups because the car is selling so good. The mark up put the car that was 29,700 up to 36k. So i told the wife for that price look at the Sorrento its the same price and more vehicle with the same options. They had one and we test drove it. Got Back there was a beautiful Telluride we pulled up beside when we parked. Looked and it was around the same price as the Sorrento. Soooo i talked her into steppin up and getting the big boy. For the price to me it made sense to get the most for your money. The ride home was nice. Still figuring this thing out. As of right now im like hmmmm about how to work the Navigation, but hey it aint my car... per say.. Anyway hope to learn alot from this forum. I am a total car guy and love to learn the vehicles i own. I will post pics later since i havent taken any of it yet
