• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello, we have a 21 SX that we didn't renew the UVO contract on. Other than remote start and service reminders it didn't seem like it was worth the price. Can anyone out there enlighten us? Thanks

I thought it was KIA's version of onStar. I was under the impression that you can use it for directions, emergency assistance etc. I haven't used it for anything other than the remote start and monthly report.

I still have 2 years to go with it so, I'm not sure if I will renew when it comes time.

Here are two longer discussions. Basically comes down to how much you rely on it. If you don’t live in a really hot or cold climate, probably not necessary.

Thank all of you for your replies.

It's up to you if it's worth it.

I just renewed mine for a year earlier this month.

I like having the native navigation, weather, emergency, and remote access features using the car's own cell service.

I’m coming up on 11 months of owning Night Ranger, and just for kicks, I logged into my UVO account to see if I would be offered any discounts. The Ultimate package is being offered for $199 for another year. I see that Kia has a slot for promo codes. Anyone know any, or call in to get a better price than the $199? I’d like to continue it, but I’d like to get it for the best price possible, of course…
