  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey everyone!

My wife and I ordered a Telluride from Peak Kia North back in November. It is supposed to be in late March. Being the banker I am, I ran the numbers to see if it would be less expensive for us to drive, fly, or to have the Telluride delivered. It would be roughly $95 more to have it delivered to my driveway. In my mind, it is well worth it to save the time and not have to waste time traveling. My wife agrees. One thing that I am not sure on is the etiquette of is tipping the driver once the car is dropped off. Should I give him a tip? How much? Would a percentage of the fee be appropriate or is it considered his job to deliver vehicles? I don't want to offend anyone, but the fee should seem to cover them delivering it.

Depends on how expensive the cargo is IMO. If there is any damage during delivery, you can cut down the tip accordingly.

Pizza - $2-$5
Washer/Dryer - $20
Car - $40-$100
