• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’m sure this has been covered but I don’t see it so I’ll ask again…

As far as Failcat goes, the date on the vehicle, is that delivery to the dealership or is it when the VIN is assigned. So, if my VIN shows up with a date of 2-??-22 does that mean my dealership got it in or it’s just been assigned to my vehicle. I’ve had dealers tell me they have a certain car coming soon and have not seen it under their dealership come up on Failcat, at all.

VIN assigned to vehicle. Not when the dealer receives. Once the VIN shows, it is still 1-2 months before delivery to the dealer.
