• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... HI,

Taking delivery of my Telly tomorrow. Is there a thread/FAQ with new user stuff because a lot of the features seems a bit confusing on what I might want or how to set up (lane assist, the engine stop thing, etc. Basically tips & tricks .

Importantly: Anything critical I need to look out for when taking delivery as far as quality control?

A few questions:

I usually use my phone for navigation, but there isn't a good place to put it. Is the inbuild NAV any good? DO you have to pay for it? Can i get google maps from my android phone up on the screen?

I stupidly ordered the cargo liner...but it doesn't fold up well with the 3rd row up, so I think I have to cut it down to size. Anyone do this this hack?

I'm assuming SiriusXM is just a trial. Not sure $18/mo is worth it.

Anyways...super excited, ordered some seat protectors for the kids' seats and tuxmats, and scheduling ceramic coating.

Cheers

May depend on your local area for best routes, but works perfect in my metro area.

DO you have to pay for it?
To use route guidance if you know the address or don’t mind looking through the list of POIs, it is always free. If you rely on searching for business address by name, like google search, you will need a paid subscription.

Yes, using the USB data cable the head unit is Carplay and AA ready. You could buy a third party adapter for wireless phone projection.

Could just sell yours and buy the canadian OEM cargo liner.

If you call to cancel, usually they are always willing to give you a lower price.

LOL! Also need to check tire pressure when taking into dealerships for maintenance. My first visit I dropped off my Telly with 35lbs of pressure in each tire..by the time I got home (felt different driving), hubby measured all tires and all 4 tires were at 24 lbs!!

Say no to every additional dealer add on including extended warranties when you do the paperwork. Be prepared to say no many times. They are delivering this to you on a Sunday?

Thanks - did this, and it was way high at 45. They brought it down to 36.

Thanks everyone else. The transaction was super smooth. Not so happy with the liner, but I'll probably jerry rig something. Wish it was the split mat. The one from canada is nice but expensive. I'm surprised tuxmats doesn't have a version of this.

Didn't get any extended warranties, so just the factory stuff.

Great. I drove mine home plus a short trip out to dinner w/ family before I remembered to check inflation and let out some air.

Enjoy your Telluride!
