In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I have them all turned off but i am still getting slammed in my email inbox with forum alerts - am i missing something?

Make sure all notification preferences are turned off here:

I have a feeling you're still receiving notifications of individually discussions. Since those were opted-into before you changed your settings (my assumption is that you recently turned everything off), you'll need to unsubscribe from each of those discussions that you're getting emails about. Check the emails and at the bottom, there should be a link to unsubscribe from that specific discussion you're being emailed about - AND to turn off email notifications on ALL/ANY discussions you previously subscribed to...
