• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So far I've got

Fluids
Tire pressure
Check for exterior/interior damage
Check technology functionality including seats/windows etc

Besides the physical aspects of the car, what else should I prep or checklist in terms of financing, insurance, etc or anything you can think of?

Anyway, April 27th can't come fast enough! It will have been 6 months or so since ordering, we can't wait!

Since you have all this time you can read up on the prior posts about this. Search for checklist or delivery

Hey thanks, I did do that and actually that's where my current list came from. I'm asking if anyone has anything else that hasn't been mentioned in previous posts.

Maybe start here:

When you’re in with the finance person, just say no.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I have my Telluride coming in April (after I canceled my Ford Bronco order). On the Bronco forums, a member had put together a super comprehensive delivery checklist. I was wondering if anyone here has put together something similar. I searched and couldn't find anything. At the very least, some of the non-Bronco specific items on the below checklist might give some folks some ideas of what to look for.

Hi all! I've been anxiously waiting for my Telluride, about 8 months now - assuming things go to plan I'll be getting it Sunday! Here's my checklist of things to inspect. If there's something that I'm not considering, please let me know.

SX AWD, non-prestige, if it matters:

  1. All USB ports (7 total, 6 charging only, 1 data)
  2. 12v power (dash, console, rear)
  3. Working android auto
  4. Working bluetooth
  5. Working touch screen
  6. Working "mood lighting"
  7. Both key fobs, lock, remote start, and approach
  8. All windows working
  9. Heated/ventilated seats
  10. Power adjustable seats
  11. Sunshades
  12. Working armrests in rear seats
  13. AC/Heat, working vent
  14. Rear AC control
  15. Sound from all speakers
  16. Working sunroof
  17. Working liftgate, smart liftgate
  18. 360 degree cameras
  19. Blind spot cameras
  20. All interior lights
  21. Paint/interior damage
  22. Door/window seals
  23. Tire pressure (check for over inflation)
  24. Horn/headlights
  25. wheel locks/manual/donut present
  26. parking brake
  27. drive mode selector
  28. Moisture in headlights
  29. Hood opens/stays open
  30. Full tank
