  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I can only imagine what getting a 2020 or 2021 was like. Nowadays the market & interest rates are on crack!

I never thought I'd fail at getting my dream SUV but apparently that's the case. After classic false advertising of "car available" on the website I decided to pre-order but was given the price of 65k‼️ It's insane that this is basically standard in 2022.

I've read of Muncie & Longmont Kia (family in Denver) but are there any others??? 55k is my target range but I refuse to go over 60k.

Been visiting this site since 2020 & I happy to join the club. Thanks in advance, especially since I'm ALWAYS long-winded😁

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you did. And I'm glad you found us. I know how you feel. It's a crazy time we're living in right now. And with the price of basically everything going up. I wonder if the pieces will ever come down. The prices in restaurants went up and I don't see why they'll ever come down. And as we all get used to the increase of cost of everything else, I just get this feeling nothing is going to change moving forward. I hope I'm wrong...

Surely is insane, but its not the standard. I ordered twice, both times at MSRP and not a penny more. Many others on here got the same MSRP deal.
If everyone would/could do the same, we probably wouldn't be in this situation with the markups... Unfortunately, it's pretty difficult to somehow get everyone on board.

Yah it honestly feels like two different extremes. It would take people refusing to buy for a correction to occur but that's simply not going to happen.

More than anything it creates added pressure on us as buyers. In my case I'd HATE missing out on a 2022 Telly especially with mid-model changes looming in 2023.

I might crack and order😔😑

All I can do is keep my fingers crossed & hope it happens for me. I understand the MSRP dealers are backlogged in orders and supposedly dealers selling for well above get priority and have shorter KFOS lines.

2023 changes are a scary thought for what I think is an already perfect SUV.

I 100% agree. Me and my wife talk about housing, groceries, gas etc (basically EVERYTHING) increasing to a point of no return.

It's half the reason I might crack and order the dang thing for 65k😮‍💨

Thank you for the warm welcome!

I know how it is wanting something so much that you'll pay almost anything. When it comes to great products like the Telluride, it's a challenge...
