  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just registered because I enjoyed (as a guest) reading the detailed information owners have shared in this forum. I placed an order on 4/25/22 for a Wolf Gray/Dune Brown SX N/T/P for my wife but after reading many threads, I honestly have no clue as to what model year, final price, and when I'll receive the vehicle. I've bought a lot of new vehicles in my 60 yrs. but if someone would have ever told me I'd be paying MSRP (or over), I would have laughed at them- now, the jokes on me I guess?! I view Failcat daily but other than marveling at how many and where vehicles are headed in the nation, I don't see much point. I'm patient but worried like many others about creeping interest rates and bump-ups in new model year pricing. If this year follows suit with last year regarding model year production switch-over, my KFOS order (whenever it actually happens, will likely be for a 23 versus a 22 as I had intended. I do not care for the new headlight set-up on the 23 but definitely like the integrated single-piece driver and media display. I ordered with deposit at a dealership just outside Richmond VA.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Yes, it's a challenging and concerning time to being buying a new vehicle. We have some great dealerships here in the community that are really fair and helpful. I wish we had more. What are you looking to replace with the Telluride?

My wife has been driving a Chevy Suburban 1500 for the past 18 years and it's time the old gal gets traded (truck that is, not the wife!). We hope to get the same functionality out of the new Telluride because the Suburban was one fine ride.

My wife drives a 2004 Chevy Suburban that we [reluctantly] will be trading in on the Telluride. If our new Telly delivers half of the enjoyment that the Suburban did, we will come to know it's a great vehicle, indeed.
