• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I took my 2022 Nightsky out for it's first tow with our new travel trailer (~3300 lbs dry) and was surprised to see that cruising at highway speeds ~100 km/h, it would rev just above 3k RPM which seems high. I played around with the drive settings between comfort/eco/sport and same result. Only way to bring the RPM down is to put it in manual mode and upshift. Can anyone else comment on their RPM while towing?

My other question is the manual states there is a Trailer Stability Assist (TSA) setting... does anyone know how or when this is activated? I assume if a trailer is plugged into the 4 or 7 pin connector that it's turned on but there appears to be no way to confirm.

Does the Canadian spec have a Smart drive mode? That is supposed to pick between all the modes to pick the best one for that point in time.

The TSA is brake based. If the vehicle senses sway or oscillation it counters by apply one or more of the 4 brakes. You don’t enable or activate anything. The manual talks about it on oh 5-43.

It does, and same result. Seems the only way to get the RPM down is to use manual mode.

Maybe others on the forum can confirm their experiences. I don’t have that experience but my towing has been at or below 2,500lbs for shorter distances with some elevation changes.
