However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Order to delivery time

That's my assumption. This seems to be the only Kia Dealership in NJ not marking up. I did call, and they told me it hasn't been picked up yet.
Did they mention having to place a new order for a 2023 since it is not apples to apples from 2022 to 2023? That is what I was told when I picked up a cancelation a couple of weeks ago.

I finally called them. I have not seen anything on failcat.

And I was told “ HOPEFULLY by July we will be seeing it.”

I also just realized that you can go to Gossett Kia’s website and see all of their “coming soon” vehicles.

Another website for you to stalk while you wait.
How do you know when one of their “coming soon” vehicles is actually your car? Forgive my ignorance…this is rocket science for me.

I ordered an EX AWD from Luther in Inver Grove Heights, MN on Jan 4, 2022. Just got notification from dealer that ETA at the dealer is now showing 8/28. Might I assume this will be a 2023?
If you were told with an ETA, it means your order had been picked up by Kia and most likely you will get MY22.

No, but the woman I spoke to rushed off the phone and hung up while I was mid sentence. TBH, I really don't care, I just want my car and praying my 12 year old mini van holds on until my Telluride comes in.

We order s model from Jake Sweeney in kentucky on 1/7/22 and dealer tells us that Kia is currently building November orders. Hear so many different stories on here that what dealer tells us

I suggest reaching out to your sales person via phone or email to find if you have to place a new order for a 2023 in the coming weeks.

I am just passing on what my sales person at Nutley shared with me a couple of weeks ago.

I just joined the forum today to find out the answer to the question, "is anyone waiting longer than my wife and I have?" Obviously a few, but not many. Replying to you because you ordered from dealers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, which is where we live. Ordered our Gravity Gray SX AWD P/T on September 12, 2021 from Luther Kia Bloomington. Original due date, May 8. Then moved to May 11. Then May 18. Then, as you described, got the "have to inspect 'em all at the rail yard for hail damage" message. Then due date moved to June 8. Now today it has moved to June 22.

VIN hit failcat on March 29. So as of today we're 9 months and 2 days into it. Far as I can tell, Luther Bloomington is a reasonably high-volume dealer as they had 25 Tellurides hit Failcat so far in the first half of June, and nearly 40 in March (the month ours showed up). They have a total of 67 pages of VINs currently in on the site.

So I guess my question is this.......... What the hell?

I'll hang up and listen. :)
Wow! I ordered the exact same vehicle (with black interior) on 10/5 from Kia of Columbia (Missouri) and got a call 5/17 that it had finally been picked up, ETA 7/15. Called dealership yesterday and ETA has moved to 8/5. Hasn't shown up on Failcat yet.

It's crazy, right?!. I know it's a great vehicle. Not perfect by any means, but great nonetheless. However, this has been by far the most absurd car purchase I have ever been a part of. And I have bought a lot of cars over the years, including more than a few factory orders.

Thank you. I will. When we paid our deposit and filled out our paperwork, he did mention that the order can "change" depending on when it's picked up by Kia. But I'll give him a call in the next week or so and check in.

I have an “In transit to dealer” ETA of 06/26. Does anyone know if ETA are pretty accurate? Or is it common for them to change?

Based on last year, around what month do you think we will see delivery for the 2023s? Super bummed I’ll have to reorder one of those. My salesman told me today they don’t have details of it yet or when we can place orders.

If you wouldn't mind, I'd be curious to know if you paid over MSRP.
I paid MSRP for both of these Tellurides with no dealer ad ons and a 125 doc fee

From what I heard they are trying to move 1000's of vehicles and are moving the ones on the front first. The railroad yard is used for all the different manufacturers so your car might just be behind other cars which is why its taking a while. Luther is good dealer and did not find them to play any games at all. You will get your vehicle!

It is very common for it to change days or even a week or 2. Don't bank on it until you get the call from the dealer telling you that its arrived.

Picked up my telluride yesterday. It was worth the wait let me tell you. I drove it on the highway this morning with cruise control and that thing practically drove itself. Haha. I’m in love! 🥰 I brought it back with bugs and bird poop. I’m afraid to wash it so I cleaned it with paper towels and water. Haha. Also, if your dealer put their logo on the back remove it right away while it’s still freshly stuck on. 😉

Paper towels are one of the worst things to use on paint. Get some microfiber cloths at the very least. If you don't want to fully wash the car, microfiber with quick detail spray will take off bugs/bird poop. Paper towels will scratch clear coat.

Good thing I paid extra for that paint protection then. 😉

Just ordered Sx (wolf grey) on Saturday. I built the 2022 with Nightfall package and dealership took the order. So late in the game I am assuming I will get a 2023, but it doesn’t appear the Nightfall will be an option in 2023. Anyone have insight on what will happen? First time I have ever ordered a vehicle. By the way, I was able to get MSRP in South Bend IN. Other dealers were adding minimum $5k markup.
