Track my vehicle

Does it get removed from failcat once it gets shipped?
It does not.. sometimes failcat misses some.

Thank you Steven I was just trying to understand the workflow. Mine said still at factory but potentially due 9-19. So just curious how likely that would be. Thank you for your dedication

Ordered 2/1/22, no VIN yet seen on Failcat. Any way to find out ETA based on any order/dealer info?
 
Ours is sitting in a rail drop off 30 miles from the dealership. Its been there since 7/31/22. They bumped the date 4 times now. Was supposed to be the 31st to arrive now moved to 9/7/22. The lady at the dealer shows us the info she gets. Said its transit issues.

What dealership and state? I ordered mine from Fowler Kia in Longmont, CO. and the delivery date moved from last Thursday to today but not sure it will be delivered and was also told about conjestion at the rail yard.
 
This is in Kia dealer in Hermitage, PA. Said it could arrive before 9/7/22. But been hearing that all month. She said its out of their control.

So people can correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can piece together:
1. Order gets picked up by Kia, dealer is notified, ETA is generated
2. The vehicle is built. When the vehicle goes to paint, a window sticker and VIN is generated.
3. Kia invoices the dealer and adds the vehicle to the dealer's website automatically
4. Failcat picks up the VIN by scrapping Kia's website
5. When the vehicle is finished, it waits for train/truck transport to dealership
6. When the vehicle is picked up, it appears on Kia.com inventory page as "Arriving Soon"
7. When the vehicle is delivered, "Arriving Soon" disappears from Kia.com inventory page.

Step one is wrong. VIN is generated when the vehicle goes into paint.
Don't know the specifics about how Kia adds to the website.

This is the VIN number dealer gave it to me today. It is not in Failcat for some reason.

The dealer ALWAYS has access to the VIN before it shows up in failcat. Failcat is a trailing indicator.

Showing In Transit to dealer with ETA of 09-09 as of today
 
Hi there. Just checking my Eta again... 5XYP5DHC8NG309240? We've had to change our flights and hotels 4 times now, this is starting to get a bit ridiculous. Most recently it was the 24th, then 30th, now they're saying 09/07. Is there a Kia phone number customers can call to help expedite delivery or voice their frustration? We can't continue to not make plans for specific time frames with kids, sports, etc to then have the date pushed. Our car has been in Colorado for 3 weeks now. Ordered in February.

Sorry, I'm just venting Stephen but any insight would be appreciated. Do dealers typically offer to help with anything if the date keeps being missed? Shipping costs, hotel, etc? Thanks in advance.
