• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 5 day old SXP. Passenger side seat not lowering when you press either switch. Already checked the cable under seat to be sure it’s seated and made sure the emergency pull was functioning probably. Also checked the fuse. Any other suggestions besides taking it to the dealer?

Did you try manually putting it down, then back up, and trying the button again? Perhaps the switch isn't recognizing the seat in the upright position.

Sounds like an open wire - probably have to take it to the dealer unless you can find a schematic for that circuit and can do the troubleshooting.

Thanks. Hopefully it will be an easy fix.

Did you try the two buttons in the back of the car to get the 2nd row seat to fold flat?
My experience was pressing the one of the two buttons on the 2nd row seat just released the seat forward. To fold flat you had to push one of the two buttons in the trunk area to get them to fold down.

Interesting. Passenger side on mine didn't work as well. Figured it out while at the dealership buying it. I'm going back on December to have them look at it.

FWIW - Took mine back to the dealer to have them look at it. The tech was telling me that one of the pins on/in a wiring harness connector was bent. They repaired that, and the seat is now working.
