• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I guess my post last night really started something here. One question I have not seen addressed is how this affects people in the queue with 2022 orders. Should they expect calls from their dealer to “convert” the order to a 2023? Or does Kia somehow convert it on their own trying to match a 2023 to the 2022 build as best they can? Do the folks in the queue for a 2022 keep their spot in line?
Fire Starter haha...

In theory yes dealers who have wait list from the 2022 models should be calling their client base to update and re-enter in order.

This may or may not be happening so need to check with your dealer

I contacted 3 dealers in the pittsburgh location and all of the sales reps claim they are not accepting orders yet. Anyone know anyone that can actually place orders now in Pittsburgh or close by?

Based on the information we have until now, what is the best trim for the price.

are we keeping our spots in line? i ordered from Gossett Kia Memphis on Feburary 27th.
i would cry and throw up if i had to start that process all over again.

come to think of it - i WOULDNT start that process back over.

I also ordered from them in April and feel the same! They have not been in touch with me about where I am in line, but hearing you ordered almost two months before me and still don't have your vehicle is not giving me much hope. I just tried to contact them and was told as soon as they get information concerning your order they will contact me. And that orders can't be changed at this time (don't know what this means).

What's the deal with highway driver assist? Do we know what is standard and what is 2.0 and the differences between the two? Is the standard the same as we have on the MY22 or is it a 1.5 version and the HDA2.0 is only available on SX and above? The literature isn't clear to me.

Does anything think the Cargo Liner in the US will be updated to be more like the Canadian version?

Just spoke with my dealer. They have upwards of 400 22' orders in the queue they are sorting thru and will be submitting to Kia on Friday from earliest to most recent reservations assuming the customer wants to proceed. After that new orders will be submitted. Dealer confirmed orders opened last night.

I have a quick question, what interior color is closest to the existing grey now? That's what we have and love it. It'd be a shame if they discontinued or changed it. Really classy color and every one compliments us on it.

@Stephen what kind of mark up are you guys intending to charge? Thnx for all the info, good stuff!!!

Have a post I just made with my incoming units already assigned. (Couple of threads under this one if you click the "Whats New" tab.. One is already spoken for from member on here.

SX Prestige actually has the Gray still on it.. without the X-Line or X-Pro

6k over with a dealer package that I have on the page written out. My turnaround time on a custom order can be anywhere from 1-3 months if entering today..

@StephenCantrelle Will these be new orders or just updates to existing orders?
Are you speaking in general or my store specifically?

In general, any location that has a queue of people with 2022 orders will need to re-enter the orders as 2023. They will need to call each client and re-enter and hopefully the store is organized and keeps everyone in the same order.

Because I am a store with markups I don't have a list of people to go through like others with 100+ people in the queue..

So these are all fresh orders for me that should be able to get filled right away if entering in right now.. with a 1-3 month wait time.

I can only sell to Texas residents

i called them yesterday and asked for a manager because my salesman kept telling me " count ya fangas. SIX MONTHS!"
until "six months" rolled around and then he just straight up told me he didnt know.

the manager i spoke with yesterday was spot on - he told me that he was expecting pricing TODAY!

he also allowed me to change my FWD to AWD and said i was FORSURE top 24 on the list.

Six months of wait is pretty normal if not minimal, unless you are paying a huge markup to your dealer. Many of us have been waiting over a year.

Hey love your profile picture - is that a real '23 Telluride in Dawning Red? I'm dying to see one. Looking at the color on the Sportage just doesn't give the same oomph.
Unfortunately, it is not a MY23. I found a red picture online. I am hoping it is a brighter red rather than more brown or burgundy. As soon as I get my 23, i will be changing that picture.

Do we know where the +10mm ground clearance comes from on the X-trims???
