• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I know different images and pdfs have been posted showing dealer guides and pricing letter and trim packages, but it'd be nice to see all of this made official by an actual posting (build configurator) on the Kia website. I'd have to think that comes soon right??

I'm still waiting on mine that was ordered in December 2021...it's been over 9 months now. Getting anxious to get my reorder in for the '23 and hoping it won't be ANOTHER 3 months or more.

Have a post I just made with my incoming units already assigned. (Couple of threads under this one if you click the "Whats New" tab.. One is already spoken for from member on here.

SX Prestige actually has the Gray still on it.. without the X-Line or X-Pro

6k over with a dealer package that I have on the page written out. My turnaround time on a custom order can be anywhere from 1-3 months if entering today..
Do you mind if I ask what is included with the dealer package? Also, is the Gray interior an option with the X-Line or X-Pro? Thnx!

Oh wait, duh you listed it on the the other thread. Thnx. Gray interior still offered in X Line/Pro?

Messaged you on other thread to keep this thread on the 23 info instead of my dealer inventory..

Noticed on 2023 window sticker that the AWD dropped 1 MPG in city. Why would that happen? More weight?

Now the next question will be, are these 2023s going to be shipping with the newest infotainment software since they’re been delayed so long?

The 2023 Palisade are shipping with old software since theirs was finalized before the April 2022 update released. If the story is the same with the Telluride, that’s a big deal for those taking home the first ones since they will still have the Nixie tubes and won’t be able to have Android Auto use the full screen.

It does look promising, though, that the new radio UI is in the infotainment manual. Good luck to those of you getting 2023s!

Thank you! Are there any other options besides prestige? Do the interior colors cost extra or is it only the exterior colors that have additional fees? Meaning is it more expensive to get a mahogany interior vs black?
Trying to go back and answer all the questions I missed. Looks like Mahogany/Terracotta/ Sage Green is 295 additional charge

According to rumblings on the Palisade posts online, the Harmon Kardon systems on the 2023 Palisade are a noticeable downgrade from the 2020-2022 models. Hopefully the same isn't true for the Tellurides.

Are they premium paint colors still a $495 option? Thanks!
Glacial White Pearl-495
Ebony Black-495
Wolf gray-495
Dawning Red-495
MidNight Lake Blue-495

Jungle Green-0
Everlasting Silver-0
Dark Moss-0
Gravity Gray-0

Are you certain that the 2023 "Tow Mode" includes the Tow Package? It was a separate adder on the 2022 which added $795 in addition to the NF package. It seems that if X-Line includes the "Tow Package" we just saved about $800 in the 2023?
100% Standard on it.. please review Window Stickers at your convenience, So essentially saving on Tow mode/tow package with self leveling suspensions.

Again for those just seeing this message it is optional at an extra charge for the FWD EX, SX and SX Prestige model

I’m about 99% sure it’s a software problem, not that the hardware is different. It is exactly the same system as previous years.

What's the deal with highway driver assist? Do we know what is standard and what is 2.0 and the differences between the two? Is the standard the same as we have on the MY22 or is it a 1.5 version and the HDA2.0 is only available on SX and above? The literature isn't clear to me.
Highway Driving Assist* (HDA)
Standard: LX, S, EX, EX X-Line
Builds on SCC w/ S&G* and LFA* by using controlled access roads (state highways, U.S. highways and federal interstates) speed limit information from the navigation* system and, under certain conditions, can automatically adjust set speed to match the posted speed limit, if first set at the speed limit and maintain distance with the vehicle detected in front.

Highway Driving Assist 2* (HDA2)
Standard: SX, SX Prestige, SX X-Line, SX Prestige X-Line, SX X-Pro, SX Prestige X-Pro
Builds on HDA* by assisting the driver in maintaining a set distance and speed from the vehicle ahead, assists with lane changes while driving on highways, and helps center the vehicle in the lane while driving.

Update, not software. The new update for the 2023 Palisade is coming out in November, from what I understand. It makes me wonder if the 2023s are somehow improved over the 2022s, if the same update cannot be applied to them?

The reason is it isn’t just a blanket update that is available ti be applied to any car. Each model gets its own individual update, and it may be further broken up by year when there are significant enough changes. The mid-cycle refresh is certainly one of those, because there are many feature differences between the 2022 and the 2023.

If you download the 2020-21 Telluride update, it won’t install on the 2022 (and vice versa). Even though there wasn’t a real change for 2022, I’m pretty sure they get a different update because of the logo differences since the 2022 introduced the new Kia logo.

The typical update cycle for the navigation system is April and November. Since the 2023 Palisade missed the April one, it is using the previous November version as its basis. Since there is no new update until this November, that will presumably be the first one to apply to the 2023 Palisade.

I think the Telluride will be safe and the first ones will have the April version. But I guess we’ll find out for sure in a few weeks!
