Wishing they offered Mahogany on X-Line. That seems like a safer, darker brown hue.

Where did you find a pic of the mahogany?

This entire allocation thing is slightly confusing! The sales rep said they had the chance of 6 allocated vehicles for pick up this month and the deadline was Saturday to place the requests. They put my order in for one and i should know next week if it’s picked up. They say otherwise it’s a 9-12 month wait.. so it seems like if Kia has what they requested and I’m in one of the spots, i can potentially have the vehicle November?

When I inquired today about how many orders were in front of mine I was told "Orders are picked up randomly not by what order they were put in, it's just better to have it sitting in their allotments should happen fairly soon. I personally had 4 outside of yours, 2 went with a 23 one canceled and the other hasn't responded yet."

No ETA given.

Hmm yeah i guess it depends on their allocations each month for the specific trim. If you are number 5 on the list and you want an SX AWD and they are only allocated 2 each month and 2 people have that trim requested first, then it might be another month. But someone who is behind you at 7 may want an EX and be the first in line for that trim and get it. I think that’s my understanding.

My impression is my specific order of the S AWD is in their monthly allocation award and if I’m the first person on the list requesting it, it will go to me ?

Oh I didn’t, lol, just going off the word and picturing a dark wood color.

Right there with you guys! I was going to select the black interior as the safe choice, but there is almost no contrast. Generally speaking the color "Terracotta" is more like a burnt orange. Even when ordering the Terracotta option there are a lot of black, wood, and silver accents to tamp down the boldness of the color.

Did they tell you when you’d know for sure? I was put in today and told next week I’d know if it was picked up.

They didn't go into specifics but I will follow up for sure with them. I know they are swamped converting MY22's over to MY23's!

I love contrast, too, but I just can’t get behind an orangey seat. It’s a deal breaker. I guess I’ll have to rely on the white stitching to provide the contrast.

I was really a Dune Brown fan of the 2022. I still went with the Terracotta because I want the contrast. I really hope it's not too orangey. The black interior would go much better with the Everlasting Silver exterior. The Terracotta I'm sure goes better with the new blue outside, but wasn't a fan of the blue changing colors in different light. I probably should have just gone with the blue and Terracotta since I'm a NY Mets fan and I'd have my Blue and Orange... lol

I am specifically looking for:

SX-Prestige X-line V6 AWD Auto (I believe the code for this trim is J4482), is that correct?

Ebony Black = Exterior Color Code ? (is it "EB"?)
Terracota = Interior Color Code ?

I wish gray was an option! I consider it a happy medium.

This was my exact order. To clarify is it for the SX-P trim? If it is for the SX X-Line, someone just posted the MSRP above. If it is SX-P X-Line the MSRP including Wolf Gray paint is $52,280 plus $1335 Freight and handling with a grand total of $53615.00. This is from a sticker with a Nappa leather black interior so there is a chance of a $295 upcharge for Terracotta.
