2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I was skeptical that it was included but Mr. Cantrelle believes that it is included as part of the "Tow Mode", although he isn't certain. We need to verify this for sure but we do know that the "Tow Package" can't be ordered yet.

Thanks! our dealer also said he couldn’t order the tow package, just seems strange to have tow mode and adjustable shocks on the x-line and x-pro but no hitch. I’ve had some friends buy other brands and with a certain trim level they automatically have the hitch. Hopefully that’s what Kia is now doing with the 23 tellurides.

Do we need to go for SX or SX X-line (NF) to get upgraded screens? What is the best trim in terms of features vs price for 2023. I want to place order and keep the option of upgrading 2023. Thanks

SX gets the dual screens so both SX or SX XLine will have them. As far as value, it depends on what you "value" so it's a subjective question. Take a look at the features of a trim and see if they are worth thr extra money to you. For me, I want all the safety technology, so I'm willing to pay the extra 3k for the SX over the EX, but Idon't really care as much about premium leather or HUD or inverter so the extra for Prestige is not worth it for me. Also, the look of the X-Line to me was worth the extra cost.

Purely from a numbers perspective, however, the SX and SXP seem to be the more popular trims so I assume might correlate to best value.

I personally feel the SX X-Line provides the best "value". Good luck.

That would’ve been our option. XPro models won’t be starting production until

I know. They told me orders are at MSRP but I’ve heard they have “warranties” that are required. The order i placed is at msrp with no markups or required warranties so we’ll see.

I wanted bench seat while placing order for 2022. Ended up getting basic EX. For the price, it came with lot of features but missed all special Telluride stuff. Xline anyway comes with captain chairs which everyone prefers (one less seat in a big SUV). I will look into SX X-Line and compare with EX X-line.

Forgot to post last night. Went to update our 22 order last night. SXP X-line wolf Grey with black interior. I asked the same question about the hitch and they told me it should be included so we will see how informed they are. Was told that Kia informed them that day they are getting 1 more shipment of 22's in oct month and will not expect 23s until November. I was 11th in line and Eta to get our car was late December or January. Tried to order the illuminate scuffplate and was told no idea of that is even possible with the supply chain issues. They "had to" add something custom to the order so the factory didn't add a bunch of stuff to it. So we picked the floor liner that we will just sell back to the dealership. Can't have carpeted floor liner with 3 kids and 2 dogs. Hopefully WeatherTech comes out with the 23 model sooner than later. This was all at the Green Bay WI dealership. Grand total was 53,850

From what we have seen the floors have not changed from the 22s to the 23s. Pretty sure the WeatherTechs on the market now, which are fantastic, will fit the new Tellys.

SX-P X-Pro Dark Moss / Terracotta… I wanted a cool green color but the jungle green is a little much for me. So dark moss it is.

I had a 22 ordered since April but I fall into the 23 category now which is fine with me. I will be ordering a 23 EX, Everlasting Silver, Black Interior, 2nd row Bench Seat, with the towing package. I am old school and could care less about all of the digital upgrades.
Our dealership is trying to come up with a better incentive for customers who were promised a 22 at MSRP. The 23 models will now have a $5000 markup at this dealership but my salesman says that the owners will try to work with me on the price. We shall see.
My wife and I are not in a major hurry so we will see how it goes.

I’m basic . Just got the S in AWD and dawning red. I’m coming from a soul, so it’s going to be a huge upgrade as is. Maybe in a few years i can justify getting a higher trim if still getting a good return for used telluride

Does the x-line and x-pro come with a tow hitch? I'm seeing mixed information on this. Also, does the x-pro come with a larger trans or engine cooler? Thanks
