• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Latest Detailed 23 Breakdown (09-29-22)

I wonder if the pricing on the SX X-Pro is delayed because Kia realized that by getting SX X-Pro, you are essentially getting Napa Leather and the other goodies like inverter and all terrain tires for only $1000 more than the SX X-Line. It was a no brainer to me to go with SX X-Pro over the X-Line because of this.
The SX X-Pro doesn’t have nappa leather.

The only way to get nappa leather is to get an SX-P, SX-P X-Line, and SX-P X-Pro. Regular SX models (SX, SX X-Line, and SX X-Pro) have regular leather.

So the for the $1000 over an SX X-Line, the SX X-Pro just adds 18” all terrain tires, larger towing capacity, and that cargo area inverter.

Can be installed at dealer level. Unfortunately will have to pay a little more for labor to install though
Thanks Stephen. After looking at the link that bruesjoh04 posted about the interior light kit not being dimmable and others complaining about it being to bright, it's probably not an option I want now. So maybe I lucked out after all on the option not being available.

Ok - but the Info and Order Guide says that all X-Pro is Nappa Leather. So I interpreted that to mean that a SX X-Pro would have Nappa.

EDIT - but I also see on the differences page that X-Pro does not list Nappa as a difference. I was going off the last page with chart that has an asterisk that says "X-Line Leather/X-Pro Nappa Leather"

I would look at that information in post 2 on this thread as the best information. Plus the logic that the X-Line and X-Pro would be consistent with their base trim.

The dealer order guide is trying to cram five different trim combinations into one column set and has a (likely incorrect) asterisk.

Regarding "Sage Green Interior and Terracotta Interior available on X-Line and X-Pro", the Sage Green only applies to certain exterior colors, correct? For example, I don't think you could get an X-Line Wolf Gray with Sage Green interior.

You are correct.. Sage Green on the X-Line is for Ebony Black, Glacial White Pearl and Jungle Green.

I updated.. thank you

But can't you get the X-Pro without getting The SX-P which does come with a Hitch.
Nothing comes with a hitch. The regular SX-P would need to have the tow package added to get a hitch.

The X-Line and X-Pro come with a tow mode and some components of the tow package (the self leveling suspension), but would need to have a hitch and harness added.

And that's the big question. How does one go about getting a hitch? My dealer said there's no option available to add a hitch to an EX X-Line order right now. They said they might be able to order one as an accessory and add it later but I want to be certain of that before converting my '22 to a '23. Given that I would be getting an X-Line so I'm not sure adding a tow package is even the right thing (which they can't do anyway) since the tow package supposedly comes with the self leveling rear suspension which the X-Line already has. They couldn't make this any more confusing.

You don't need the tow package to have a tow hitch if you're going to install it after the fact. The tow package only adds the rear suspension.

So none of the trims get the dual screens until you step up to SX, did I read that spreadsheet correct?
