• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

Same order here, now we race to wait for it.

I did get MSRP pricing, since my March 22 order was also at MSRP canceled. Dealer added $5k MA two days after our original order.
What is $5k MA?

It basically describes how big of a crook the dealership has become in today's world. I understand a little bit of MA, but some are just thievery added on top of crooked doc fees.

Curious as to why some dealers can/cannot place orders. I’ve been to three in Central Florida that have all turned me away.

They probably are trying to fill current orders before they worry about an influx of new buyers.

Wow I'm not sure what to say about how confusing Kia has made all the trim/color combos for the 23s. It went from a fairly straight forward ordering process to all over the place. I know they needed to refresh the car but some of the choices are very questionable.

Having seen video of the headlights, they look odd with the long vertical oval silver chambers that house the drls and headlights. On top of that when the headlights are on along with the drls it looks flat out ugly (where before with the orange drls and headlights on it looks very nice). Not sure who stepped back and said "nailed it" regarding the headlights at Kia. The grey color around the grill looks very cheap also as apposed to the chrome/NF trim.

The front bumper is a bit weird but I can see they're trying to make it look more beefy/off road and also create a solution for the open gaps in the 22s where debris can hit the radiator. I do like the dash but the seat stitching looks way worse than the current SX-P. The rear bumper is nice as the upper area is painted compared to the 22s which is plastic and looks bit cheap. The back up lights completely look like an after thought and are really out of place...really bad design there. Also I hate when manufacturers put lights in the bumper. Easily doubles the cost of repair on a simple fender bender due to the lights being integrated.

Overall I'm not sure what to think. Kia had tons of hype from the last few years and could've taken the car to a new level with a better thought process about upgrades. Seems they kind of did a half ass job rushing to get it refreshed to capitalize on the current frenzy. Overall some positives but they had a chance to make it the most sought after car in North America and I believe it will still sell but not at the crazy rate the previous model did. My best guess is the next redesign in 2-3 years will bring back some of the old styling along with more tech upgrades.

Looking forward to seeing it in person, either way Telly's are the best SUV I've ever owned. Cheers!

Interesting that the 23s are showing up in showrooms, but not in failcat. I wonder if Kia changed things up again so the failcat masterminds must adapt.

Not sure but could it be related to the builder not being up?

If you look at the Vin# of the 2023's they are older Vin's from back in Sept 22. Here is one 5XYP5DGC6PG324808 When they go past 325810 that will be new Vin's not just fill in's no custom orders yet. No Hitches either. I was told the online build should start Oct 12Th. I hope. I gave my order to Fowler Kia Sept 29. The only accessory you can get at this time is mats. Does not look like you can even get A Hitch.

@StephenCantrelle was there some sort of deadline to get orders in by for Saturday? The one dealership i worked with said they had 6 allocated to them this week and basically needed it in by Saturday to accept it? Then if Kia has the car i requested i should know next week? Is that accurate? They said these 6 were already built so i guess it’s not the same as the custom orders?

Interesting. When I search failcat there are no VINs from 324714 to 324814. I don’t have any filters on. You can see 23s in that gap?

No the stickers are showing up on Facebook. That is one that I gave you. Many 2023's are showing up at Dealers.

What is confusing about the trims? It’s essentially the same as the past two years but instead of options within trims, they made it their own trim.

Instead of getting an SX and then within the SX you add NF, and prestige, now you just select the trim SX-P X-Line. I struggle to see how that’s drastically different.

Found a dealer that’s wants a 15k markup to order one. Has anyone ordered at MSRP?

I found a website YAA.com and joined several months ago to help me find one in Texas. Your auto advocate. They have a list that can help you find a Telluride in your state at MSRP.

There are plenty of dealerships that do not markup. A $15k markup would be an insta-no. If you’d get an EX X-Line with a 15k bump you might as well just buy a much nicer SUV.

I guess I missed something, how are you guys already ordering a 23 and know what the prices are before you can build on the website?

Look back on this thread. There’s multiple posts that have options and prices listed.
