• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Pictures (Official)

Probably for the same reason the Telluride didn't launch with NF - it gives them an option to add again in a year or two that will noticeably change/improve the appearance of the vehicle.

I disagree. The inside looks much better with the basic gauge cluster and slapped-on infotainment display removed/modernized... but the exterior is largely worse in most configurations. It's like the Telluride was too successful and detracting from Genesis. Now it has obnoxiously large silver/gray trim pieces for no apparent reason, and they killed a signature element that identified a Telluride from literally a mile away. Those amber DRLs will look good for years to come.
Agree to disagree! I saw a 2023 in person today and it looks more modern and cleaner than I think even the photos are making it look on the outside. The lines look good and the bumpers do too. The headlights look clean and modern. Personally, I don't care if someone knows what type of car my car is from miles away because it has bright orange rectangles in the headlights- I am on the inside enjoying the inside of the car for 99 percent of my time using that vehicle.

However, I still think the 20-22 looks fantastic too. It's a great looking vehicle and I love how well made they are and how they check every box for features.

That is fair :). My dealer had a few units in stock yesterday and a whole truckload being unloaded while I was there, so I saw many examples of the colors & trims in person, but my opinion was not changed. Heck, even though I don't agree with the exterior changes, I still ordered one - as you said, I'm inside 99% of the time anyway. The amber DRL is the biggest casualty to me - I really liked the look!

Did you happen to see the blue? I (obviously) love that one. I DO find it odd they didn't even keep a nod to the orange daytime running lights (smaller orange light accent or something). It definitely helped launched the popularity of the Telluride by making it stand out visually.

Yea, I actually just asked our dealer if I could make this same switch but it was too late. So I guess we’ll be looking into vinyl wrapping asap.
I ran into the same thing with my dealer. Can someone like @StephenCantrelle decipher what this email means?

If an order has been filled/accepted and is assigned to dealer then order can not be change.

I suppose other regions may be different but on my end if an order is not yet filled than we can edit order.

I know for sure that the DRLs were changed because the Telluride has been retooled to sell internationally but it would have been cool if they allowed US 2023 Tellurides to have the new DRLs glow amber.

IMO the '23 will make the '22 look dated. However, I'm a fan of the amber DRLs and would have gladly taken a '22 if my order didn't get canceled. Wish Kia would have made the '23 DRLs amber at least for the US market. Wouldn't surprise me if there was some aftermarket solution soon.

Just turn on your parking lights. Problem solved.

Anyone have pictures of Wolf Gray with Terracotta besides this one? Even better if someone has a video!

This video had me questioning whether the trim of the X-Line is as dark as the X-Pro. I guess it’s just the camera angle or effect of the paint color?

Whoah it totally does look darker on the XPRO.

The trim on the X-Pro does look darker than the trim on the X-Line in this video. I hope it’s not true though 😞

I have been noticing the same. Xline looks to be silver and xpro the darker gray. But @StephenCantrelle posted pics of an xline and x pro and both have the darker gray front bumper. I'm not sure the reason why some are silver and others the darker gray. I would think all xline xpro would have the darker bumpers.

Surely the difference wouldn’t be prestige, would it?

I think that has to be an optical illusion based on the camera angle and the paint color surrounding the trim.

In this photo of an X-line, you can very clearly see the grill/bumper trim is dark gray.

His blog has more pictures and he said they’re the same, they look different due to lighting.

Dumb question, what are parking lights? And you can drive with these on, correct?
Parking lights (often referred to as position lights/lamps) are typically just all of your lights except for the headlights and fog lights. Which, in the front, usually just means the lamps used for the turn signals and the side marker lights. Your taillights will also come on in this mode.

You definitely can drive in this mode, although obviously at dusk you should switch to “on” or “auto” so your headlights are on.
