2020 Telluride Cooling Fan Stuck

Pulled in garage around 4 pm, turned car off, heard cooling fan still on. Didn't think much of it. Went in the house. Around 3 am, heard a roar in garage I go to look and fan is still roaring. Ignition was completely off. I cycle pressed ignition and it finally went off but it did drain the battery low enough to now the car wont start. Anyone know what the hell this fan stuck on all night?

Had the same problem yesterday and today. Turned the electrical system on with the starter button without starting the engine, and it shut off after repeated attempts at engine on/off over last 45 minutes. Don't know if it was coincidence or my screwing around with it. There is a breaker in the under hood fuse box but I couldn't figure out how to get it out. Didn't want to break something and make things worse.

It wasn't running the entire time as I remember hearing the noise in the garage at around 10 PM. Started the vehicle and shut it off, fan came on again. Drove around the block and parked, fan came on and stayed on. Finally, cycled through the ignition button without starting the vehicle and the fan shut off. Anyone else have this issue?

Sounds like some kind of temp sensor for the fan is defective. Take it to your dealer pronto.

Had the same issue. I disconnected the battery for about 5-10 minutes, haven't had the issue since. This was last September maybe beginning of October.
 
That's a good idea if, you don't mind paying the $185 for a "diagnostic."

I certainly wouldn't pay any "diagnostic" IF a problem is found by the dealer or local mechanic, and then taken to a dealer for fix - as long as he is still covered under warranty.

I also said let the dealership know of the problem. Maybe they have seen it before or Kia has a solution which is hopefully covered under warranty. That is the only time I use the dealership

I'm having this issue now. Just starred today. It's 22 degrees outside and the fan is still going.
 
Have this issue on my 2020 Telluride S. Was anyone able to find the issue?

Today I noticed this issue on my Kia Telluride 2020. The fan started up by itself after the engine was turned off and the car was parked there for 3 hours. I started up the engine and then shut the engine off. After a few seconds, the fan started by itself again. I have to unplug the battery to stop the fan.
 
I havent had this issue anymore after the battery completely died from the fan staying on all night. It just went away. So I guess the ECU might have reset and took care of the issue. So I would say disconnect the battery all night and connect it in the morning and hopefully you have the same luck as I did. Its been over 6 months no issue anymore. Weird I know.
 
Anyone figure out exactly what is wrong with it? I am having the same issue also, checked the cooling fan fuse, unplugged the battery, I ended up having to just unplug the fan when I shut it off
