If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey guys!

On 10/3 my dealer emailed me saying Kia had picked up my order! Woohoo! But he said he didn’t know what the timeline would be, so no VIN yet. How long did it take from hearing your Telluride was “picked up” to receiving your VIN? I’m just curious as I want to make arrangements to sell my other vehicle, but obviously can’t do this too soon. Thanks in advance!

Too many factors. The VIN is generated when the vehicle goes into paint. Once KFOS closes (tonight), you will get your first (of probably many) ETA('s). Do NOT make any decisions based on the ETA because it will change. The safest date is the day that is shows up to the dealership.

Very good point! Thank you!
